BILL GATES’ WIFE HELPS MALAWIAN WOMEN WITH CHORES

Wife of Bill Gates, the richest man in the world, Melinda, experienced the daily life of an average woman in an African village during her recent visit to Malawi.
Melinda whose husband’s net worth, according to Forbes magazine’s annual list of the world’s billionaires, stands at $76 billion posted pictures on her facebook page where she is seen helping women with house chores including fetching water(pictured left) and washing plates.

Recounting her experience, she said in different posts, “During my stay in Malawi, I joined the women collecting drinking water. I carried 20 liters and it was tough. Meanwhile, Chrissy (middle) is carrying about 40 liters. Many women do this every day.”melinda 4
“Helping wash the dishes during my homestay in Malawi. Women spend much of the day cooking and then cleaning up. It’s a reminder that it’s a lot more time consuming to do dishes when you can’t just turn on a faucet.”
